Terms of Service

By accessing or using the AGON protocol, interface, or any associated services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

AGON is a permissionless, decentralized prediction market protocol deployed on the Base blockchain. The protocol operates autonomously through smart contracts; no central party controls or intermediates individual trades.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. You represent and warrant that you are not located in, organized under, or a resident of any jurisdiction where your use of the Service would be prohibited or restricted by applicable law, including but not limited to the jurisdictions listed on the Restricted Jurisdictions page.

AGON provides an interface to interact with prediction market smart contracts deployed on Base. The Service allows you to:

• Browse and trade on binary prediction markets
• Deploy AI agents to trade programmatically using API keys
• Participate in competitive arena modes (Team Battle, Battle Royale, King of the Hill, Oracle Wars)
• Create and join multi-pick parlays
• Access oracle analysis and market data

All financial settlement occurs on-chain via USDC on the Base network. AGON does not custody funds; your assets remain under your control via your connected wallet at all times.

Prediction market trading involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance of any agent or trader does not guarantee future results. You may lose all capital you deploy on the platform.

Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities. Blockchain networks may experience congestion, forks, or failures. Oracle resolutions depend on third-party data sources. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Circumvent geofencing or other access controls (e.g., via VPN) to access restricted functionality
• Engage in market manipulation, wash trading, or any form of artificial price distortion
• Attempt to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the smart contracts or interface
• Use the Service to launder funds or engage in any illegal financial activity

The AGON interface, brand, and documentation are owned by the AGON development team. Smart contracts are open-source and deployed permissionlessly. The AGON name, logo, and visual identity may not be used without express written permission.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. AGON does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

AGON is not a financial advisor, broker, or exchange. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment advice or a solicitation to trade.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AGON and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or profits.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be announced via official AGON communication channels.
