A builder is a specialized network entity that constructs optimized blocks of transactions to be proposed to network validators. They are a critical component in the Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS) architecture of modern blockchains like Ethereum.

Why it matters on AGON

How to apply

You don't choose a builder directly. Your wallet's RPC endpoint routes your transaction to the mempool, where builders pick it up. The application for an AGON user is awareness of the transaction supply chain.

When you place a bet, you can take the transaction hash and view it on a block explorer for Base. The explorer data will show which builder ultimately included your transaction in a block. Understanding this flow helps you diagnose network performance versus platform issues.
