USAGarrett Patrick Stubbs is an American professional baseball catcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros. Stubbs played college baseball for the USC Trojans, winning the Johnny Bench Award in 2015 as the nation's best collegiate catcher. The Astros selected Stubbs in the eighth round of the 2015 MLB draft, and he made his MLB debut in 2019. Stubbs played for Team Israel in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
