
Jonathan Gregory "J.D." Davis is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos of the Mexican Baseball League. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, and Los Angeles Angels and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Saitama Seibu Lions. Davis played college baseball at California State University, Fullerton, and was drafted by the Astros in the third round of the 2014 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2017 with the Astros.
