ColombiaJorge Mario Alfaro Buelvas is a Colombian professional baseball catcher in the Kansas City Royals organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies, Miami Marlins, San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies, Boston Red Sox, and Washington Nationals. Alfaro signed with the Texas Rangers as a free agent in 2010, was traded to the Phillies in 2015, and made his MLB debut in 2016. He plays on the Colombia national baseball team in international competition.
